We rode a rickshaw through the old Hutongs while our guide shared their rich history, and we even made traditional clay figures of Tu’er Ye (a deity of folk religion popular in Beijing). We also visited Beijing's top attractions. The Great Wall was absolutely breathtaking, and we loved exploring the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Summer Palace.
Our guide was highly professional, she brought us to a local spot for Peking duck, it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. We sampled local snacks too, which were delicious.

My wife and I did a private trip to Chengdu and Chongqing with SMCOrientrip, and it was fantastic. Everything was planned around what we liked—super smooth and totally stress-free. In Chengdu, we tried tradition ear cleaning at People's Park (a surprisingly relaxing experience) and got an up-close look at adorable pandas at the research base. In Chongqing, we explored the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dazu Rock Carvings, and of course, had to try the famous hotpot—spicy but so good. We also took China high-speed trains between cities, which was a cool way to see a more modern side of China. The whole experience felt personal, well-paced, and full of surprises. Would 100% do it again.
