Arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport on your own. Private car and guide will pick you up and transfer to The Peninsula Beijing Hotel, check into the luxury suite to rest.
In the past, visiting temple fairs during the Chinese New Year was a major leisure activity for everyone in Beijing. This afternoon, we invite our distinguished guests to the Beijing temple fair, where you can experience traditional folk culture displays and savor local specialty snacks

Itinerary:
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, crossing Tiananmen Square to visit the Palace Museum. Today, we will take an unconventional route and view the royal history from the perspective of the "master", understanding the growth of the princes, appreciating the beauty of architecture and artistic treasures from a child's perspective, and uncovering the "big monsters in the Forbidden City"!
Afternoon: Stroll along Qianmen Street, understanding Beijing's central axis; walk through the early financial and commercial district of Beijing; learn about the renowned old shops of the capital city. Following that, a study of the Four Treasures will be arranged for guests to understand the essence of the Four Treasures. Making woodblock watermarks and experiencing the charm of intangible cultural heritage. Guests will be invited to write “Fu” characters and Spring Festival couplets together, welcoming and celebrating the Spring Festival with joy and blessings!

The Palace Museum: The first of the world's five great palaces, is the royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China.
The Imperial Palace is the royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China, formerly known as the The Forbidden City (紫禁城: Zǐjìnchéng). It is located at the center of Beijing's central axis and is the essence of ancient Chinese imperial architecture. The Forbidden City houses many unique treasures in Chinese history, such as Gu Kaizhi's “Nymph of the Luo River”, Zhang Xuan's “Spring Outing”, Wang Xianzhi's “Mid-Autumn Festival posts”, and Wang Xun's “Bo Yuan posts”.

An exclusive guide will accompany you through the centuries-old history, visiting the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, the Divine Music Administration, and more, exploring the stories of the Temple of Heaven together.
Afternoon: Proceed to Prince Gong’s Mansion to learn about the cultural significance of blessings, prosperity, and longevity, uncovering the mysteries behind the character “福” (blessing) within the mansion and understanding why there is a saying that “A visit to Prince Gong's Mansion is half a journey through Qing Dynasty history.”
Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the Hutong, taking a leisurely tour of the lively alleyways with a unique route that allows you to experience the charm of old Beijing. Engage in in-depth historical narratives with Beijing dialect and rhythm, immerse yourself in the folk customs and traditions of old Beijing, and feel the unique sense of ceremony and warmth of the imperial capital.

· Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties held ceremonies to pray for good harvests and rain, is a unique and exquisite architectural masterpiece. Visitors can also witness ritual performances.
The Temple of Heaven, a dedicated altar for imperial ceremonies, is a gem of ancient Chinese architecture. The northern part of the altar is circular while the southern part is square, symbolizing the concept of “round heaven, square earth.” The Temple of Heaven is divided into the inner and outer altars, with iconic structures like the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall located within the inner altar.

· Prince Gong's Mansion: The former residence of Heshen, now a well-preserved royal mansion.
The front part of the Prince Gong's Mansion is a magnificent mansion, while the back part is a secluded and beautiful classical garden. The mansion’s architecture is solemn and simple, with a grand and dignified atmosphere, second only to the imperial palaces. The Cuijin Garden behind the mansion is surrounded by water and mountains, with ancient towering trees, winding corridors and pavilions, making it magnificent and natural; the ever-changing scenery is exquisite and harmonious, which is a model of Chinese garden architecture.

Itinerary:
Today: Guests can enjoy a later start to the day, after breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mutianyu Great Wall (70 kilometers / about 2 hours). Take the cable car up and down to witness the grandeur of the former guardians of the ancient city known as the “Perilous Ridge and Mighty Pass.”
Afterward, return to the city for rest, and later, guests are invited to Lao She Teahouse to enjoy a large bowl of tea and VIP seating to watch a traditional Beijing performance.
Itinerary:
Today: Check out after hotel breakfast and drive car to Summer Palace (22 kilometers/40 minutes), enjoy this ancient royal garden, feel the leisurely atmosphere of the Qing Dynasty royal family strolling in the garden, admire the carved railings and green pillars.
Afterwards, according to the guests' flight time to arrange exclusive car transfer to Beijing Capital International Airport (26 kilometers/50 minutes), return home with full memories.

Summer Palace: Known as the “Royal Garden Museum,” visit the garden and boat on Kunming Lake. The Summer Palace, formerly known as the Qingyi Garden, is a large-scale landscape garden built with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as its base, modeled after the West Lake in Hangzhou, and incorporating design techniques from Jiangnan gardens. It is a well-preserved royal palace garden and is acclaimed as the “Royal Garden Museum.”
