Huaqing Palace

At the foot of Mount Li in Xi’an’s Lintong District, Huaqing Palace combines royal gardens, hot springs, and historical sites, gaining fame for its unique hot springs, the tale of “beacon fires to amuse feudal lords”, the romance of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, and its role in the Xi’an Incident.

Centered around the hot springs, the palace features an expansive layout with additional pavilions and terraces extending across hills and lower grounds, blending with the natural terrain. Verdant with pine, cypress, and scenic gardens like Lychee, Hibiscus, and Pear Gardens, Huaqing Palace captures the spirit of Tang Dynasty culture, attracting countless visitors each year. As part of Xi’an sightseeing, it’s an essential stop for those exploring Xi’an tourist attraction.
