Next, travel to the Caohai and walk across the famed Walking Marriage Bridge, surrounded by lush reeds and steeped in Mosuo love legends. Ride the scenic cable car up to Glacier Park, where you'll enjoy close-up views of the majestic glaciers and the mountain's main summit. After descending, continue to Blue Moon Valley, where glacial waters form a series of vivid turquoise pools that shift colors with the light.
Note: To increase your chances of seeing the golden sunlight on the mountain, departures begin around 6:20–6:30 AM. The optimal viewing season is from October to April, with the spectacle typically occurring around 8:00 AM and lasting about 15 minutes. As this is a weather-dependent natural event, visibility is not guaranteed.
Mornings are cold at high altitude—please dress warmly and bring gloves, a scarf, a mask, and a hat.
· Ticket Advisory: From October to April, you may catch the stunning alpenglow phenomenon when the mountain's peak is bathed in golden morning sunlight. While unforgettable, it is weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed. During peak travel seasons (January, February, July, August, Golden Week, Spring Festival) or in the event of strong winds, tickets for the main Glacier Park cable car may be limited. If unavailable, we'll arrange access via the Spruce Meadow cable car instead, or refund the price difference.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, attend the spectacular outdoor performance Impression Lijiang, staged at the base of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. With snow-capped peaks as the backdrop and over 500 local performers on stage, the show delivers a powerful cultural experience rooted in Lijiang's ethnic traditions. After the show, travel by car to Dali and check in at your hotel.

"Impression Lijiang" Cultural Show (Ticket included):
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Zhang Yimou, Impression Lijiang is a large-scale open-air performance held at an altitude of 3,100 meters in the Ganhaizi Blue Moon Valley Theater. Set against the snow mountain's dramatic silhouette, the show features over 500 local villagers who bring to life the myths, customs, and everyday life of Lijiang's ethnic minorities. The performance unfolds in six acts, including: Ancient Caravan Trails, Toasting the Snow Mountain, Heaven on Earth, Folk Dances and Songs, Drum Ceremony for the Sky and Blessing Ritual.
