03 Mingshi Rural

Morning: Begin your day with a peaceful bamboo raft ride on Mingshi River, where you'll float through a landscape of towering karst mountains and crystal-clear waters. Afterward, explore traditional Zhuang minority houses, offering a glimpse into the unique architecture and culture of the region. Optionally, rent a bike and follow the guide along peaceful farmland paths, passing sugarcane fields, lotus ponds, and rice paddies. It's a perfect way to reconnect with nature.
Afternoon: After your countryside experience, head to Beihai to begin your coastal journey. If time allows, feel free to wander through the city at your leisure. Known for its relaxed vibe, Beihai is the perfect destination for unwinding. You can also rent an electric bike and leisurely explore the coastal area.

Attractions:
Mingshi Countryside (Ticket included): Situated in the western part of Daxin County, Chongzuo, Mingshi Countryside is renowned for its breathtaking karst scenery and serene atmosphere, surrounded by meandering streams and lush greenery.

04 Crocodile Mountain-Landmark Square-Nanwan-Five-Color Beach-Sheng Tang Catholic Church

Morning: Depart from Beihai port by boat and enjoy a scenic one-hour ride to the beautiful Weizhou Island. Upon arrival, begin your exploration at Crocodile Mountain Volcano Park, where you can stroll along the boardwalk to admire the unique volcanic rock formations. Climb the lighthouse for panoramic views of the South Bay coastline, and experience the natural power of the island. Next, head to the Main Landmark Square, where you can wander amidst volcanic rocks and lush greenery, soaking in the island's distinctive geological beauty.
Boat ride duration: approximately 70-150 minutes depending on weather and ticket schedule
In the case of a typhoon or weather-related cancellations, Weizhou Island fees will be refunded, and the itinerary will be changed to free activities in Beihai.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, discover the lively Nanwan Lang Street, a vibrant area filled with cultural displays and island delicacies, giving you an authentic taste of local life. Later, visit Five-Color Beach, where you can explore the erosion platforms at low tide and marvel at the stunning black sand and vibrant coastal scenery. Attractions:
Weizhou Island (Ticket included): Located south of Beihai, Weizhou Island is the largest volcanic island in China. Its stunning volcanic landscapes, erosion cliffs at South Bay, beautiful beaches, and mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets make it a must-visit destination.
Important Notes:
1.Weather Conditions: Special seasons and weather conditions, such as typhoons, heavy rain, or government regulations, may affect the ferry service to the island. If you are unable to travel due to these factors, the staff will notify you of the changes, and the itinerary will be adjusted to a local Beihai tour instead.
2.Re-sailing Notice: Ferry services from Beihai to Weizhou Island are subject to weather conditions and may experience cancellations or delays. In such cases, tickets will be sold at the ticket booth, and you will need to queue to purchase tickets. The travel agency cannot purchase tickets on your behalf (based on previous experience, the success rate of buying tickets may be low, especially during typhoon season).
3.Harbor Blockage: If there are blockages at the harbor or ferry routes, the following situations may occur:
Passengers with tickets will need to wait at the dock.
For those visiting Weizhou Island for one day, your time on the island may be shortened, and there could be cases where you are asked to return immediately after arriving.
Crocodile Mountain Scenic Area (Free entry): Crocodile Mountain is one of Weizhou Island's key geological attractions. With well-preserved volcanic remnants, this site offers stunning views from the lighthouse and the chance to explore tide pools during low tide, perfect for shell collecting.
Main Landmark Square in Weizhou Island (Free entry): This square, located about one kilometer from the volcanic crater, is surrounded by volcanic rock formations and tropical plants, offering both scenic beauty and educational insights into the island's natural heritage.
Nanwan Lang Street (Free entry): Located in the heart of Weizhou Island, Nanwan Lang Street is part of the Nanwan Marine Sports (South Bay Marine Sport) Park. It consists of five themed sections, each offering unique cultural and recreational experiences.
Five-Color Beach (Wucai Beach) (Free entry): On the island's east coast, Five-Color Beach is famous for its black sand made from crushed shells and volcanic rocks.  The beach is known for its unique geological features, including sea erosion cliffs, erosion platforms, and sea caves. During low tide, the sea platforms extend wide, offering a stunning sight.

Afternoon: Wander through Beihai Old Street, where centuries-old stories come alive amidst the mix of Western and Chinese architectural styles. Explore the rich history and cultural fusion as you stroll through this iconic street. End your coastal journey and head to Guilin. Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your hotel to rest.

Silver Beach Scenic Area (Free entry): Located in the Yinhai District of Beihai, Silver Beach is a National 4A-level scenic spot. The beach's fine, white quartz sand glitters in the sunlight, while the calm, clean waters and gentle waves create the perfect setting for beach activities and water sports. The subtropical climate makes it a great place to visit year-round.
Weisha Seafood Island (Free entry): Weisha Seafood Island, situated off Beihai's northern coast, is renowned for its seafood markets and dining options. Surrounded by the sea, the island features a 2-kilometer coastline ideal for enjoying the ocean breeze. The island is divided into two main sections: the east side is focused on seafood-themed attractions, while the west offers seaside resorts and leisure hotels.
Beihai Old Street (Free entry): Beihai Old Street, which dates back to 1821, stretches from Zhuhai Road to Zhongshan Road. · Special Note: Due to limited availability, particularly during peak seasons or holidays, if the 4-star Li River cruise is unavailable, you will be upgraded to a 3-star boat, and the onboard meal will be changed to a 3-star airline meal. Any price difference will be refunded.
Afternoon: Enjoy a relaxing bamboo raft ride on Yulong River, where you'll float gently through lush landscapes and serene countryside. Li River Scenic Area (Boat Tour): The Li River is one of China's most iconic rivers, often described as a "green silk ribbon with mountains like jade hairpins." The 83-kilometer stretch from Guilin to Yangshuo is considered the most scenic, offering picturesque views of limestone peaks, tranquil waters, and cascading waterfalls. This part of the river is often referred to as the most beautiful, giving you the sensation of being part of a living landscape painting.
Silver Cave (Ticket included): Silver Cave is one of Guilin's must-see attractions, known for its mesmerizing natural formations. Highlights include the Music Stone Screen, Snow Mountain Waterfall, and unique structures like the "Buddha's Sermon" and "One Pillar Sky." The cave is famed for its mystical beauty and is symbolically known as "Silver Cave—Never Lacking Money."

08 Gudong Waterfall - Elephant Trunk Hill - Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas

Itinerary:
Morning: Start your day with a visit to Gudong Waterfall, where you can climb rocks and use iron chains to get closer to the cascading water, feeling the refreshing splash of the falls. The multi-level waterfalls are surrounded by a pristine natural environment, offering a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Li River up close and enjoy creek tracing.

· Reminder: During summer, if you wish to climb the waterfall, safety equipment such as helmets, grass shoes, and raincoats can be purchased at the park, starting from CNY 15 per person.
Afternoon: After a relaxing two-hour break to rest, head to Elephant Trunk Hill, where you can admire the mountain shaped like a giant elephant drinking from the Li River. The Water Moon Cave, located in the front of the hill, creates a stunning view as the river flows through the cave, forming the remarkable scene of "the moon beneath the water, and the moon floating above it."
Next, enjoy a scenic drive past the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas. As night falls, the golden and silver lights from the pagodas illuminate the lake, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere that perfectly highlights the charm of Guilin at night.

Attractions:
Gudong Waterfall Scenic Area (Ticket included): Located south of Daxu Ancient Town in Lingchuan County, Gudong Waterfall is a series of cascading calcified waterfalls formed by underground springs. The crystal-clear streams and year-round waterfalls cascade down through 13 levels, each offering a unique shape. It's a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts.
Elephant Trunk Hill (Free entry): One of Guilin's most iconic landmarks, Elephant Trunk Hill resembles a giant elephant drinking from the Li River. The Water Moon Cave, located at the front of the hill, provides a breathtaking view as the river flows through it, creating the extraordinary illusion of "the moon beneath the water, and the moon above it."
Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas (Scenic Drive): Located in the center of Guilin, the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas rise from Shan Lake. The Sun Pagoda is made of copper, while the Moon Pagoda is made of glazed tiles. The two towers are connected by an underwater tunnel. At night, the towers are illuminated, casting golden and silver reflections on the lake, creating a stunning, romantic atmosphere.
