Located in Menglian County, Puer City, the Menglian Golden Pagoda is one of Yunnan’s largest gilded Buddhist pagodas. The main pagoda, surrounded by eight smaller ones, blends Dai ethnic and Buddhist cultural elements. The intricately carved pagoda towers over the landscape and is a significant symbol of local religious belief. Traditional Dai wooden buildings and Buddhist temples complete the site, showcasing the region’s cultural and religious heritage. Every year, many Buddhists and China travel tourists come to worship and visit.
