The famous commercial Qianmen Street in Beijing is located on the central axis of Beijing, starting from Moon Bay and ending at Tianqiao road junction, connecting with Tianqiao South Street.
The Qianmen Street is 845 meters long and was called Zhengyangmen Street during the Ming, Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China. People called it as Qianmen Street and the name was officially set in 1965. There are many well-known famous shops, such as Quanjude and Donglaishun. While the original old-fashioned shops and their traditional operating characteristics have been basically remained, new stores such as clothing department stores, food products, and watches have been opened one after another.
