Situated in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, Shanghai Disney Resort is the first Disney resort on the Chinese mainland. Shanghai Disney Resort is next to Shanghai Pudong Airport in Pudong New Area. It occupies an area of around 3.9 square kilometers. The first Disney resort in Asia, Shanghai Disney Resort officially opened for business on June 16, 2016.
